Sight Station Donates 304 Fashion Readers

Sight Station, a UK-based eyewear retailer and wholesaler with a philosophy that "fashionable eyewear should be for everyone," has donated 304 pairs of designer reading glasses to our reading relief project in eastern Chad. Shown below are some of these stylish glasses, complete with matching pouches. Not only will they help hundreds of Darfur refugees read, but their beauty will bring extra happiness where it is so badly needed.

Fashion readers donated by Sight Station

The "fashion readers" come in vibrant colors, such as orange, teal, raspberry, purple, green, and hot pink, and a wide variety of designs, including polka dots, stripes, floral, checkerboard, and paisley. Some are even studded with rhinestones! They will fit right in with the bright wardrobes of the Darfuri women.

This major donation takes us to more than 80% of our goal of supplying 1,750 pairs of reading glasses for the Bredjing, Treguine, and Gaga refugee camps and nearby Chadian villages. Thank you, Sight Station, for being a leader in the effort to help the refugees through reading. We hope the public will respond to your generosity by considering www.sightstation.com to be a preferred source for fashionable and affordable readers, prescription glasses, sunglasses, fashion-only clear glasses, and other optical accessories.
